ASO Agent
Your listing was written the week you shipped and the keyword field has not been opened since. This agent reads your App Store and Google Play listings, the keywords behind your installs, the analytics and the week's reviews, then drafts what is worth changing and what is worth answering. It runs as a weekly Loop, and nothing reaches Apple or Google until you approve it.
Kwern gathers what it needs itself
Nobody has read your listing since the week you shipped
You wrote the subtitle in a hurry the week you submitted, guessed at the hundred characters of keywords, and have not opened that field since. Meanwhile the reviews pile up, half of them questions you could answer in a sentence, and the search terms that bring you installs quietly change under you. None of it is urgent, which is exactly why none of it ever gets done.
What is ASO?
App Store Optimization is the work of making a listing findable and convincing: the name, the subtitle, the hundred-character keyword field, the description, the screenshots and the replies under the reviews. Apple ranks an app partly on those words and partly on what people do after they see them, so the listing is both the advert and the ranking signal. Change it well and the same traffic installs more often. Change it badly and you lose a position you cannot see yourself losing.
An ASO agent is that work done every week instead of once a year. It reads the listing as it stands, the keyword field Apple never shows in public, what the product page analytics say about impressions, views and downloads, and the reviews that arrived since the last run, then writes the specific changes worth making: this promotional text instead of that one, this keyword dropped because the hundred characters are better spent elsewhere, this review answered because the person is asking whether the iPad version is coming. It proposes. You approve.
What it leaves you
Drafts of the two things a listing is made of, the words in it and the answers under it, and one App growth report a week.
The skills it runs
A run may activate these and nothing else. Every one of them is open: read the file before you turn the agent on.

What the AI CMO market offers an app
Two figures rather than three: none of the ten AI CMO products whose public sites we read sells an App Store agent, so there is no third price to put beside these. Kwern publishes no audience figure for the App Store, because we have not measured one.
Kwern against the alternatives
| What is compared | Kwern | AI CMO suites | Point tools | An agency | Doing it yourself |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Getting a change past App Review | Proposes metadata one field at a time and writes only the two fields Apple allows outside a release, so nothing is queued for App Review that you have not read. | None of them connect to App Store Connect, so the question never comes up. | A rank tracker does not touch your listing at all. | They send a document. You paste it and hope. | You changed the subtitle on a Friday and forgot what it used to say. |
| Finding the words people actually search | Reads the hundred-character keyword field and the product page analytics behind it, against the competitors you named in the foundation document, then says which words are earning their place and which are dead weight. | Nothing. There is no App Store agent among them to read a listing. | A keyword tool gives you volume and leaves the choosing to you. | A keyword report, quarterly, for a listing they see once. | The words you would use, which are not the words buyers type. |
| Writing the listing and the replies | Writes the keyword field, the promotional text and the review replies in your brand voice, against what the reviews of that week actually said. | Not offered. | A review tool gives you templates with a name merged in. | Written by a copywriter who has not opened the app. | Written by you, at the end of a release, in twenty minutes. |
| Who says yes before it goes out | One feed. Approve, edit or reject each draft; nothing is published or spent until you do. | Usually a dashboard, sometimes autopilot with no stop. | Per tool, in whatever queue that tool keeps. | A shared document, and a reply a day later. | You wrote it, so you approved it. |
| What it costs a month | From $29 a month, every agent in every plan. | $20 to $1,000 a month, and $5,000 for a done-for-you tier. | One subscription per channel, each with its own seat. | A monthly retainer, agreed before anything ships. | Nothing, and it costs you the evenings. |
| Who pays for the model | Your own key. Across the 11 models Kwern vets, input runs $0.10 to $10 per million tokens, billed to you by the provider. | Credits you buy from them; the markup is never itemised. | Theirs, folded into the subscription. | Inside the retainer, at whatever margin they keep. | Your own key, at the provider's price. |

This Agent runs about 4 times a month. The tokens those runs spend are billed to you by your own provider: $0.10 per million in on gpt-6-luna, $10 on gpt-6-astra. Kwern never resells a token and never marks one up.
Three plans, every agent in each
Your model key, your accounts, your approval on every post. The plan decides how many products you run.

On Reddit, on X, in ChatGPT's answers. Kwern finds them every morning and drafts the reply in your voice; you decide what goes out.
