Stripe

Stripe holds the revenue of a product sold on the web, and the coupons an offer is made of. Kwern reads the first and writes only the second.

What Kwern reads

Subscriptions

Every subscription, with its prices, trial and end, from which each day's figures are computed.

Charges

The charges of each day, for gross revenue before refunds and fees.

Invoices and refunds

The paid invoices each creator's code brought, and the refunds on them, from which each commission is worked out.

Promotion codes

The promotion codes Kwern made, with how often each was redeemed.

Kept day by day

MRR, active subscriptions, active trials, new subscriptions, cancellations, gross revenue, referred customers, conversions, referred revenue, commissions earned, commissions paid. Every day ever seen is kept and never windowed, so a range you ask for a year from now still answers.

What Kwern can change, once you approve

A promotion code

One promotion code per creator, on a coupon you chose, capped and dated as your offer says, made when you mark the message as sent.

How the connection is made

Connecting the account

One click installs Kwern's Stripe App on your account. Stripe shows the permissions it asks for before you accept, and one Stripe account is one connection.

Binding it to a product

Nothing. The Stripe account you installed the app on is what Kwern reads.

What Kwern never does

Never your money

No payment, refund, payout, subscription or customer is ever changed. Stripe refuses every write outside coupons and promotion codes.

Never a payout

Kwern sends no payment and asks for no bank detail: a payout is marked as done once you paid it yourself.

A code only once it is sent

A promotion code is made only once you mark the message that names it as sent, never while it waits for you.
