Okara review: ten agents on a credit meter
What Okara's ten agents produce, what a month of them costs once the credits are counted, and the three things its own documentation does not offer. Everything here was read from Okara's own pages and is linked back to them.
Kwern sells a product that competes with Okara, so every claim about them on this page carries the page on their own site it came from.

The short version
Okara is the most complete of the products compared here and the most metered. Ten agents, five strategy documents, a real documentation site and a video agent nothing else here matches. It is sold as $129 or $249 a month with 2,000 credits attached, which their own estimate says a full month nearly exhausts. Everything waits for your approval, and their Pro plan will also publish to a CMS and post to LinkedIn on its own if you let it.
What Okara does well
It makes video
Ten agents, and the video one is real: UGC Videos drafts concepts, scripts and multi-aspect clips, at least thirty a month on the Pro plan. None of the others makes video at all.
okara.ai/agent/ugc-videoIt runs a paid influencer campaign end to end
The influencer agent goes further than a shortlist. You brief it in chat, approve the creators it ranks, fund the campaign through Stripe, and it runs the outreach, the change requests and the refunds from there.
okara.ai/agent/influencerYou can read the whole product before you buy it
Forty-three documentation pages covering every channel, every integration and the credit cost of every action, published as Markdown with an index a machine can read. You can price a month of Okara before you sign up.
okara.ai/docs/introductionWhere it falls short
The credit meter decides how much marketing you get
Both paid plans carry 2,000 credits and their own monthly estimate for a full Pro month is 1,860. An article is 18 credits, a video 60. Two busy weeks and you are buying a top-up at $45, $90 or $180 rather than doing more marketing. The credit figures were recorded on 26 August 2026.
okara.ai/docs/credits.mdThe skills are a login wall
Eighty skill pages show the front matter and the first paragraph on a page titled as a free download, then ask you to log in to unlock the file. The playbook is the marketing, not the product.
okara.ai/skillsIt stops at the website
Their integrations list is content management systems, Google Analytics, Search Console, GitHub, X and LinkedIn. No App Store listing, no Apple Ads, no ad account of any kind, and their documentation index lists no API and no MCP server.
okara.ai/docs/integrationsWhat it costs, and what Kwern costs
Okara's two paid plans are $129 and $249 a month, and both carry 2,000 credits (the credit costs and top-up prices below were recorded on 26 August 2026); an article costs 18 of them, a Reddit thread with its reply 8, a UGC video 60. Their own monthly estimate for a full Pro month is 1,860 of the 2,000, so a heavy month ends in a top-up at $45, $90 or $180. Kwern is $29 to $99 a month by how many products the plan covers, and the number you will pay on top of it is your model provider's, on your own key, at their price. Kwern records what every run cost, so the second bill is itemised rather than deduced from a credit balance.
$29 to $99 a month, excl. VAT, by how many products the plan covers.
$290 to $990 a year, excl. VAT, which is two months off the monthly figure.
Free, Lite $129 a month, Pro $249 a month, Agency on request.
$108 a month for Lite and $208 for Pro when paid yearly, billed as $1,290 and $2,490.
The yearly figures were recorded on 26 August 2026.

Never on its own. Where Kwern holds the key it posts after your yes; where it does not, it hands you the text and the link and waits for you to mark it done.
Everything an agent makes waits in the Agents Feed until you post it, publish it or mark it done.
The Pro plan adds CMS auto-publish and LinkedIn auto-posting.
okara.ai/docs/dashboard/agents-feed.mdokara.ai/docs/plans.mdThe model runs on your own provider key, so the tokens are billed to you by the provider at the provider's price and never resold here. The plan's usage pays for the reads Kwern makes for you, at prices published in full.

Verdict
Best for a founder whose product is a website with a CMS behind it, who wants video and influencer campaigns in the same place as the blog, and who would rather buy credits than manage a model key.
If that is not you, the case for the other direction is on the Okara alternative page.
