X Community Agent

A new account's posts reach almost nobody. A post inside an X Community reaches its members whether they follow you or not. This agent finds the Communities where your buyers already talk, tells you which to join, and drafts a post written for each one. You approve it, and Kwern posts it there.

X

Your posts reach your followers, and you have none yet

You post into the void: a handful of impressions, no replies, and the people who would care are a few clicks away in a Community you never found. Finding the right ones, reading their rules and writing something that belongs in each is an afternoon a week most founders never get back to.

What is posting in X Communities?

An X Community is a group inside X built around one subject, with its own members, moderators and rules. A post made inside it is shown to the Community's members whether or not they follow you, which makes it one of the few places a new account is seen from the first day. The same post can also go to your own followers, as the "Also share with followers" box does on x.com.

The catch is that every Community is its own room. Its moderators hide posts that break its rules, and members ignore anything that reads like an advert. An X Communities agent does the reading first: it finds the Communities where your audience gathers, reads what each one answers, and drafts a post that gives that room something before it mentions what you build. Kwern's agent tells you which Communities to join and posts into the ones you joined, once you approve each post.

How it works

  1. 1

    Connect X

Connect X and the agent searches X's Communities through your account, reads each one's rules and latest posts through Kwern's own search key, and reads what your product is from the foundation document Kwern wrote when you signed up.How the X connector works

  2. 2

    Runs every 3 days

A run searches the Communities where your audience gathers, reads the ones worth a post, and drafts one post for each Community you joined, planned on a free hour of your X calendar. It also names the Communities worth joining next.

  3. 3

    You decide what goes out

You approve each post before it goes out. Kwern then posts it inside its Community from your account and shares it with your followers too. Joining is yours: X lets no app join a Community, so the agent tells you which ones to join and why, and you press Join in X. A post into a Community you have not joined fails with X's own reason, and nothing else is sent.

What it leaves you

A post for each Community you joined, written for its members, and a short report naming the Communities worth joining next.

A launch lesson, written for a Community of indie makers

PostThe agent read a builders' Community whose members answer numbers and lessons rather than announcements, and drafted a post sharing what your launch week taught you, ending on a question the members can answer. It names the Community, why it fits, and what its rules say.

An answer to the first reply under your Community post

ReplyAnswers to the people who reply under your Community posts come from the X replies agent, which works the same channel and reads every reply and mention of your account. The two share the approval feed.

Follow the member who answered your launch lesson

EngagementLikes, reposts and follows on the same channel come from the X replies agent. It picks them from the posts of the people you engage with, Community members among them, and you make each one yourself from the link.

DM the maker who asked how you found your first users

OutreachA direct message to someone who answered you this week comes from the X replies agent too, written ready to paste. You send it from your own account.

The skills it runs

A run may activate these and nothing else. Every one of them is open: read the file before you turn the agent on.

Will Community moderators remove it as self-promotion?

Value for the members first

Every draft is written for one Community, in the shape of the posts its members answer: a lesson, a number from your own work, a question they can help with. Your product appears as what you build, not as the point.

The rules, read first

The agent reads each Community's rules and recent posts before it drafts, and says in the draft when the rules could not be read.

Your approval, every time

Nothing goes out until you approve the exact words, and no two Communities get the same post.
